Dripping Springs Farmers Market, 160 East Mercer Street, Wednesdays from 3-6 PM

In the colder states of our nation, Farmers Markets have a limited scope appeal and generally have to take a break in the fall, reopening again in the milder months of spring, but in Dripping Springs, this is not the case! Offering that beautiful weather we talked about year-round, every Wednesday our local merchants take to the market to bring you the freshest, tastiest, and sweetest foods, gifts, and crafts. Fill up your I Love Dripping Springs pantry with fresh bake goods and even fresher produce or spend a fun-filled few hours searching for the perfect gift for your pet sitter back home! At Christmas the goodies offered here tend to be holiday related, adding to the spirit of the season, but we can promise this; there is never a bad time to visit the Dripping Springs Farmers Market!

The Armadillo Christmas Bazaar, December 15-December 24, Palmer Event Center in Austin

Speaking of Christmas, for those visiting during the last two weeks of December, the Armadillo Christmas Bazaar is always a popular activity! For over 45 years, the Armadillo has been responsible for probably about 75% of the Christmas shopping done here and this year promises to be even better as they are expanding the bazaar, offering 25,000 more square feet of shopping experiences! Last year there was no joy in Dripping Springs or Austin as the bazaar was cancelled due to COVID, but this year their one stop holiday expedition will leave your feet crying for a rest but will fill your heart as you fill your arms with gifts, art, and food! Offering live music and a deliciously good time, if you don’t visit the Armadillo at Christmas, were you really here this Dripping Springs winter?
