Shopping is one of our favorite parts of vacationing, getting to explore the stores that are unfamiliar to us, finding treasures that we never knew we needed until they were resting in our hands, and trying to figure out how to get everything we bought jammed into our suitcases without having to pay overweight fees. (Ok, that last part we could do without) Dripping Springs is a small town, but the shops, boutiques, and stores that line our streets are destined to bring you joy as you explore all the things have to offer, carrying back bag after bag filled with treasures to your I Love Dripping Springs sanctuary. And because we love to give our guests good news, you won’t have to worry about overweight bag fees, as our Texas escapes offer fully equipped laundry rooms, allowing guests to pack light and save room for all their prizes they bring home from a day of Dripping Springs shopping.
Cowgirls & Lace, 1111 US-290
Of course, our home stores offer Western-themed items, and Cowgirls & Lace is one of our favorite places to while away a few hours. Once primarily a fabric store, the owners have extended their wares to include home décor, fabric care items, and even toys, body care items, and quality candles provided by the Tyler Candle Company. Open since 1993, we get excited thinking about all the ways this sweet shop will continue to grow in the future.
Revel Wilde Mercantile + Home, 330 W Mercer Street Suite 4A
Traveling takes a community to do it successfully, as we rely on the people back home to pick up the slack. They watch our dogs, water our plants, and pick up any packages, newspapers, and mail, keeping it out of the hands of porch pirates. These selfless gifts they give us deserve acknowledgement, perhaps a gift from Revel Wilde Mercantile + Home, offering a variety of merchandise including some of the sweetest gifts you will ever come across.
Dripping Springs Chocolate Company, 391 Sportsplex Drive
Whether you are looking for a gift for friends or are simply experiencing a sweet tooth of your own, if you deny yourself a visit to the Dripping Springs Chocolate Company, you will regret it forever. Only open on weekends, every piece of chocolate they offer is guaranteed to be your newest obsession (and that includes every sip you take of their hot cocoa mix), and the best news is they offer an online store so you can indulge your sweet tooth whenever the urge arises.
Hill Country Galleria, 12700 Hill Country Boulevard in Bee Cave
As we have mentioned before, Dripping Springs is a small town, and our shops and stores tend to run towards the independent variety. (Shop small business, it’s a good thing!) But if you are looking for a mall experience while shopping in Dripping Springs, a road trip to the whimsically named town of Bee Cave, located just 15 miles outside of our town, is exactly what you need. Offering a variety of name-brand shops, including Barnes & Noble and Bath and Body Works, it is also the site of the Bee Cave Farmers Market, open on Sundays from 10 AM- 2 PM.
Dripping Springs Farmers Market, 1042 Event Center Drive
When looking for local produce while enjoying Dripping Springs shopping, home baked goods, and artisan crafts and creations, you don’t have to wait to drive to Bee Cave on Sunday, especially as the Dripping Springs Farmers Market is open on Wednesdays from 9 AM – Noon. Also offering flowers, body care products, and a variety of other products, the farmers markets in Dripping Springs and in Bee Cave make it fun and easy to create healthy meals for the family.
Shopping in Dripping Springs at Vintage Soul, 302 Mercer Street
Vintage Soul doesn’t refer to the age of their merch; it refers to the timeless soul inside all of the shoppers who spend their spare time exploring this charming store. It offers clothing that will appeal to your inner hippy while still adding class to your wardrobe, jewelry that will bring a light of joy to your eyes, and a beautiful selection of gifts, accessories, and home décor that your life just won’t be the same without.
