Wildflower Spring Market, March 23rd and 24th, Dripping Springs Ranch Park Event Center, 11-4
The Wildflower Spring Market is an event we look forward to every year, bringing the beauty of the season to our doorstep. Selling a fantastical selection of local art, clothing, jewelry, soaps, home décor, and garden gifts all handmade by local artisans. Admission is $5 when you bring a food donation for Helping Hands or $6 without and tickets are good for both days if you have so much fun on the first day you feel like coming back for more the next day.
Dripping Springs Gun Show, April 20th and 21st, Dripping Springs Ranch Park Event Center, 9-5
Texans love barbecue, football, and their guns, and although you probably won’t find anything that has anything to do with football at the Dripping Springs Gun Show, you will probably find some barbecue at the event. Featuring a large selection of guns, gun paraphernalia, and other types of weapons, even if you don’t purchase something, simply walking along the aisles of this fun event can be an eye opening experience. Costing $10 per person, visitors under the age of 21 have to be accompanied by parents or legal guardians and children 12 and under are free.
Vintage Market Days, April 26- 28, Dripping Springs Ranch Park Event Center, 10-4
As the world moves towards conservation and spending less, shopping for vintage deals has become a top priority, and when you visit Dripping Springs at the end of April, you too can get in on the fun. Offering three days of vintage-inspired treasures including art, clothing, jewelry, and so much more, the wares sold here will make perfect souvenirs or gifts for the wonderful people you left behind taking care of your pets, your mail, and even the plants that you have cultivated over the years. Ticket prices range from free (for children 12 and under) to 15 dollars with the highest price allowing for re-entry to the event at any time during the day the tickets were purchased.
Dripping Springs Events at Founder’s Day Festival, April 26-28, Downtown Dripping Springs
All the events and festivals in Dripping Springs are guaranteed to be fun, but the Founder’s Day Festival held the last weekend of April holds a special place in our hearts. Celebrating the establishment of our Dripping Springs hometown, this event honors the founding families who stuck their landing in an area that was heartbreakingly beautiful while offering a harsh environment in the days without electricity. Starting off with a parade, participants can expect to enjoy live music, carnival rides and games, food trucks and beer vendors, just to start. Also offering street dances, cook-off competitions, and over 100 booths selling arts, crafts, and a variety of other treasures, this hometown festival will give visitors a better understanding of our town while providing fun and entertainment that will add to the charm of your Texas vacation.
